The world is yours



...is the name of the expos currently at Louisiana Museum. Louisiana is a museum of modern art, one of the most popular museums in Denmark, a truly beautiful place and only 5 minutes away from where we live - so next week I am getting my year pass! This weekend we went with Troels and Soazic, and saw the most interesting photo expo by Jacob Holdt. I don't think his pictures have been in any major museum outside of Denmark yet, but if you get a chance to see his work someday - please go go go for it!

This Danish photographer's work covers several cultural aspects of the American society, in particular that of poverty and oppression in the black community, white hate groups such as the KKK. His work and the stories behind them are really fascinating and scary at the same time. We only wished we had had more time at the museum to really see everything in the expo - as well as the "world is yours" expo, we we missed completely.
