Love is in the air :)

Time to practice what I learned during my photo class! And what best but to find some random strangers on Craigslist for that? Both of these couples were looking for a photograph to take their engagement pictures, so here comes Super Zaudrey to the rescue :)

The first session with Andrea & Craig was definitely hard - it was the first really nice day of Spring and Central Park was PACKED with people. Probably not the best location for a shot that day, but I tried to make it work. The shot with Andrea & Michael was much more relaxed. We had such a blast....and guess what, they got me pistaccio gelato to thank me! hahaha that sounds like a deal to me :D

I started building a collection of pictures - I still need to redesign the page, but at least you can go and take a look at what I have been up to: http://www.audreysmit.com

I am hygging, you are hygging, we are all hygging!

One of the most important word in Danish = hygge. That means hanging out, chilling with the people you love, enjoying their company. Such a cool word that really discribes the Danish culture, love it. So, we few pictures of us "hygging" in New York City :)

Dear Sun

Dear Sun,
Thank you so much for visiting us last Sunday. I love to spend time with you in Central Park, it is always SO good to have you around....I just wished you'd stayed longer, you know? I mean, I don't mean to be pushy or anything, but why are you always in such a hurry to leave us?
Don't be a stranger, Sun!
Love always,
TheFrenchImport

Fuerza Bruta!

Another surprise for my birthday: Troels took me to this AMAZING show called "Fuerza Bruta". The whole thing was happening within the audience and we had to move around as the show evolved. From dancers performing in water and other flying in the air, to the beat of the music and all the people sreaming with joy.....it was just a HIT. Tickets are a bit on the pricier side, but it was definitely one of the coolest things I have seen in New York city!

Hurra Hurra Hurra!

Saturday was SO much fun :) Troels, Asbjorn and Ditte woke me up with the traditional Danish birthday song ("Med dejlig chokolade og kager til" being the only part I know really...go figure....oh, that and the "hurra hurra hurra" part!). Then off to eggs, English muffins and chocolate eggs I was :D Troels fixed breakfast for my birthday and it was oh-so-delicious. And see all those presents????? MY PRECIOUS. Mwahahahahahahahahah :D
