Little frogs in viking land

To say that it's been a busy past few weeks would be an understatement. But busy is good, that's how we like it and I don't think we would have it any other way :) Right after our trip to New York, my sister arrived in Denmark with her little family for a few days.

Unfortunately, Olivia was sick almost the entire time they were here - oh the fun of dealing with a little girl that is jet-lagged and with a 40C degree fever. We had a hard time getting smiles out of her. But her cousins Nils and Jean, somehow, had a much easier time and I am so glad they were around to make our little girl smile :)

It's funny to see them play together, they are so small but you can already tell that they love each other so much.

By the weekend Olivia was already feeling a lot better, so we all went to Hilleroed on the sunny afternoon to fuel up on good food in the city and fresh air outside at the park. So much fun that the little Olive felt fast asleep in the middle of it all.

And of course, the more the merrier so after Hilleroed we went to Troels' parents - hhis mom had prepared a delicous dinner as always, and we just "hygge" at their place, watching to 3 little ones play. Troels grandparents were also there, such a warm fuzzy feeling to see four generations together at the table. Stars don't align very often that we can do this, but we enjoy it when it happens.

And if Olivia enjoyed it? haha, long gone was the fever, she was giving hugs left and right. She was back in the game and was read to give out some love ;D Welcome back little Olive, we missed you while you were sick :)

One more visit now, my friend Anke is coming to see us this weekend and I can't wait to see her, talk about memories from Tucson and salsa dancing, catch up on each other busy lives.....oh and maybe make some crepes, our fav!

...and after that, I'll be free to go into bear sleeping mode until the baby arrives!
