Why I should never move to London
No, I don't have anything against big tall red buses :) I had a great time going about the city and visiting old friends. hehe but oh do I get tricked by the lovely lovely British accent. I would probably trust Queen Elizabeth and the guy selling peanuts at the corner of the street in the exact same way, looking at them in adoration of the words that come out of their mouth. So proper. Bloody brilliant, that wouldn't get me into troubles at all! :D So no, no moving to London, EVER, or it would be the end of me :)

Reinventing your travel...
Welcome to Olivia Smit Airline :)
This week was our first time flying with Olivia --oh you should see her little 1-month old cheeks on her passport picture- and let's just say that we had some fun traveling to London:
Part 1 - Leaving the house: We were supposed to get on the 4:45am train on Thursday - granted that Olivia eats wakes up between 3 and 3:30 am every night, we were just going to feed her then and go....but of course, miss Olivia decided that Thursday was just the best day for her to sleep through the night, and I had not planned for that:) She couldn't have chosen a best time. so 4 am, we wake up, panic, wake Olivia up, she panics. Crying, feeding, chaos.
Part 2- The airport: traveling with a child, you have to take a LOT of things with you! And given how "tete en l'air" both Troels and I are, I am surprised we didn't forget our little Tinymus somewhere along the way :) What a mess. Troels at the airport: "We are never again traveling with a baby". Haha. Really honey? So either we stop traveling (mmmm not likely), or we sell Tinymus (not likely either -mmm unless we get a good offer for her, anybody? hehe. Anyway, despite all these extra luggage, it was great to gave her with us - we got so many smiles along the way...even from the airport security....a real first...let's not sell her :)
3- Arriving in London/Hotel: Troels had arranged for early check in so I could go to the hotel right after our flight and feed Olivia. We were so proud of ourselves to have arrange for it since we are usually not all that organized.......hahah right. Now if the hotel had actually prepared the room as they were supposed to. I arrived at the hotel with a crying hungry tinymus, and no hotel room or place to feed her. We ended with in the hotel's toilets...brilliant. Granted, they were nice toilets, so I'll give you that :)
We're hoping traveling with her will get easier with time as we get more used to it. But knowing us, there are probably some good traveling-with-a-child stories coming up :)
Daddy needs no fancy stroller to carry Olivia at the airport :)

Spring på vej
Snow is still all around, but we can feel it won't last much longer - days are getting longer and longer, the air is "warming up"....strangely, this makes me a bit sad! We've been having such a blast this winter in our little winter paradise. I made friends with the snow, I even managed to not crash the car even once hehe. But I guess it is way time for Spring and summer to come: nice long evening having dinner with friends, swinging under the tree in the garden, walks by the sea, ice cream....lots and lots more things to look forward to-plus, I am not going to be able to hold Troels off from using his brand new barbecue much longer, it's itching him to much to get grilling :) But in the meantime, we'll enjoy the snow as much as we can!

We are FA-MI-LY
Living life is fun and we've just begun
To get our share of the world's delights
(HIGH!) high hopes we have for the future
And our goal's in sight
(WE!) no we don't get depressed
Here's what we call our golden rule
Have faith in you and the things you do
You won't go wrong
This is our family Jewel
We are family...
Get up everybody and sing!
Tristan Ditte & Asbjorn came to Nivaa to hang out :)
Tristaneating kissing his cousin :) Don't be scared Olivia!
All covered up
Go go go Tristan!
"Promenons-nous sur la mer, pendant que les Suedois n'y sont pas. Si les Suedois y etaients, ils nous mangeraient :) Mais comme ils n'y sont pas...."

Hanging out with the kangaroos :)
No, we didn't fly to Australia...at least not yet - but hopefully we'll have Olivia's passport soon so we can travel outside of the European Union very soon...it's a big world out there so we might as well get her started soon!
It's that Olivia got tons and tons of lovely presents and cloths (thanks everybody!!), including this adorable little bodysuit with pink kangaroos on it. Love it! Nice little day of me and Tinymus hanging out with the kangaroos - cuddling up on the couch.
